One of the easiest ways to waste marine cleaning products is to assume a stronger concentration always works better. Products are formulated to work within specific concentration ranges, and correct dilution helps balance cleaning performance, surface compatibility, rinsing, cost, and consistency.
What Does 1:10 Mean?
A dilution ratio describes the relationship between chemical and water. Manufacturers can express ratios differently, so always follow the product-specific directions rather than assuming every label uses the same convention.
Why Dilution Matters
